And when all else fails, there is Photoshop trickery.

This scene is a composite of the foreground from the previous picture and the sky from an earlier picture in this series.

I "created" the picture by cutting the sky from the earlier picture with the Lasso tool, then  selecting the area of the sky in the previous picture with the Magic Wand tool, and finally by using the Paste Into command to paste the new sky into the area occupied by the original sky.

Cheating? Of course. Fun? I thought so at the time and I still like the result. Ethical? No, not if I submitted the picture in a contest and not really if I just said look at my picture without mentioning that it was a digital fantasy.
