A mostly submerged Alligator, shot against the light on a cloudy afternoon.

When Maggie and I first saw this Alligator, it was on a far bank. But it came a lot closer when Maggie called it by making the high pitched grunting sound that baby Alligators make.

Turns out that there are two sounds that sometimes attract Alligators - the high pitched grunting sound that baby Alligators make and the deep Bullfrog like croaking sound that Alligators use during mating season.
