I shot this flower along the entrance walk because I like the way the sun was lighting it and because I have a special affection for this flower.

Special affection? Yes. On January 1, 2005 the wind was blowing hard and I could not go scuba diving.

So I took the camera I normally used for underwater photography and went for a walk in the neighborhood where I lived. This flower was my first subject.
