The Black-necked Stilt couple are still tending their nest with four eggs in it.

The earliest date I have for a picture of these birds on their nest is May 4 and per Google, the incubation period is 22 to 26 days. So any day now there should be chicks.

Also per Google, chicks are able to run, walk and swim as soon as their down is dry, which is usually within 24 hours of hatching and their life span is approximately 20 years.
