Here the Anhinga is seen rubbing the fish it just caught in the dirt.

Watching, it looked like the Anhinga might have been trying to wear the fish out and weaken it. But from other observations, I know that sometimes Anhingas have trouble getting their catch off their bill.

Moments later the fish was free on the dirt and almost flopped back to the water. Worried about loosing its prize catch, the Anhinga downed the fish in one swift and continuous movement.

Game over!
