From any earlier assist from Nick Block on bugguide.net, "This is a teneral male Roseate Skimmer that has not obtained its distinctive reddish color yet."

To me what's neat about the shot is that I used the same long lens I use for wildlife, the only difference being I'm much closer to the subject. And even at just five feet away, the lens can still focus to produce a sharp image.
