All day, here and at Green Cay, the skies were filled with Purple Martins and a variety of Swallows.

But getting a shot of these birds was out of the question as they were in constant, high speed, dart mode.

In fact, it got to the point that I thought that the only way I would get a picture of any of these birds would be if they died.

Then I got lucky. Or more to the point this little guy finally tired and took a break.
