Young Alligator, about 5 feet long, with woman's sandal. Perhaps the Alligator is just playing with the sandal. Or maybe this is all that remains of the women with the missing sandal!

Note: I normally try to keep signs of man out of nature pictures. So I don't shoot birds on telephone wires or alligators crossing the road etc. But this sequence is interesting in that it illustrates some things about alligators and their interaction with man.
